Key details

01
10,000mAh rated cell capacity
02
Qi2 wireless: up to 15W
03
USB-C: up to 30W for a single device

The inconvenient moment is rarely at home. It is when the map is open, the next train ticket is on your phone, and the battery is heading into the red. A useful charging plan is less about collecting chargers and more about keeping that moment boring.

I would shortlist the Anker MagGo Power Bank (10K, Slim) for a compatible phone. This is based on official specifications; I have not tested charging speed, temperature or battery capacity.

Why the format appeals

Anker lists a 10,000mAh battery, Qi2 wireless output up to 15W and USB-C output up to 30W for a single wired device. It also lists a slim profile of approximately 14.7mm. Actual power depends on the connected device, temperature and usage.

The magnetic format is appealing when you want fewer loose pieces on a café table. I would still pack a short cable: the convenient option is not always the most efficient option, and a cable helps when another device needs power.

The checks I would make first

Check the exact phone model and case against the manufacturer's current compatibility information. A case that looks magnetic is not automatically a good charging match. Camera bumps, alignment and case thickness all deserve attention.

I would try it with my actual bag, too. A battery that fits nicely in a product photo can still be an awkward addition to a small crossbody. Decide which essentials you want to carry before choosing the capacity.

What I cannot claim yet

The advertised cell capacity is not the amount of energy delivered into your phone battery. I would not promise a particular number of full recharges. I would also avoid assuming that wireless charging will stay cool during navigation or video use.

For a first hands-on check, I would record the phone model, case, room temperature and charging mode, then repeat the same task with a cable. A useful comparison needs those details.

My research verdict

A practical possibility for a compatible phone and a long day out. If your current wired power bank already works, there is no need to replace it just for the colour or magnetic attachment. The best upgrade is the one that solves a recurring problem.
